Getting Started – Official Onboarding
To start using Wefulfil’s fulfillment or sourcing service, you must complete three onboarding steps.
These steps ensure your Shopify store, fulfillment locations, and product inventory are properly connected to Wefulfil.
Follow the guide below to complete your onboarding smoothly.
1. Step One – Connect Your Shopify Store to Wefulfil
Before Wefulfil can sync your orders or inventory, you must connect your Shopify store.
There are two ways to complete the integration:
Option A – Connect via Wefulfil Dashboard
- Log in to your Wefulfil account.
- Go to: Integration → Add Store
- Select Shopify
- Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize the connection
Option B – Install from Shopify App Store
You may also connect directly through Shopify:
- Wefulfil Dropshipping (for sellers using China 3PL / dropshipping model)
- Wefulfil Australia (for sellers using our AU warehouse)
Search for either app in the Shopify App Store and click Install.
Why this step matters
Once your Shopify store is connected, Wefulfil can:
- Import your orders automatically
- Sync inventory in real time
- Assign fulfillment locations to the correct warehouses
This is the foundation of your entire fulfillment workflow.
2. Step Two – Set Up Your Shopify Shipping Locations
After connecting your Shopify store, Shopify will automatically create a new Fulfillment Location for Wefulfil.
⚠️ This step is extremely important
If you do not assign shipping rates to this new location, your store may incorrectly show:
“OUT OF STOCK”
—even when your Wefulfil warehouse has inventory.
How to Set Up Shipping Rates
Please follow this official guide video:

- How to avoid “out of stock” errors
If You Ship from Multiple Locations
Some sellers ship from:
- Their own AU warehouse
- Wefulfil China 3PL (to US / UK / EU)
- Other third-party warehouses
If this applies to you, you must set up multiple fulfillment locations in Shopify.
Here is the full guide:
▶️ Shopify Multiple Location Setup
This ensures:
- Inventory sync for each warehouse
- Correct shipping rates per region
- Accurate routing of orders
3. Step Three – Product Mapping (Linking Your Shopify Products to Wefulfil)
To sync inventory and push orders for fulfillment, Wefulfil needs to map each Shopify product to the correct Wefulfil SKU.
How to Provide the Product ID
- Open your Shopify admin
- Click into any product → Edit
- Look at your browser URL
- Copy the long numeric string at the end (This is your Product ID)
- Send this ID to your AM (Account Manager)
Your AM will complete the SKU mapping in your Wefulfil system.
Once mapping is completed:
- Inventory starts syncing
- Orders begin auto-pushing to Wefulfil
- Stock inbounding and restocking functions activate
Do you have historical orders?
No problem.
Just send us your order numbers, and our team will perform a one-time manual sync to import them into your Wefulfil Dashboard.
